Earlier this year, we featured the latest restaurants opening in Summer 2015 and it was one of the most well received! We thought we’d put together a list of new restaurants for fall with help from Eater Charleston and the City Paper. These are the latest openings, and a few that we’re very excited about!
Mercantile and Mash
Mercantile and Mash is located in the Old Cigar Factory, featuring a retail center, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and a bar. Early visitors are raving about their amazing food and huge selection of fresh breads, pastas, baked goods, wines, and other local goods.
For Lowcountry sweet-teeth, Parlor Deluxe gives guests hot dogs, milk shakes, ice cream, waffles, and so much more. Looking at their Instagram is sure to make you hungry. We love their old-school mixed with new school design and comfy interiors.
Élevé at Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston
Upstairs at the Grand Bohemian Hotel is the gorgeous Élevé. The restaurant has an outdoor lounge with comfy and spacious seating and an indoor tavern with a coffee bar, wine room, full-service bar, and a craft cocktail bar. While we haven’t been there yet, the food is said to be American with a unique flair.

Opening Later In The Fall
We’re keeping our eyes on a few restaurants are slated to open in the next few months. From Bill Murray to more barbecue, the fall is looking good for Charleston foodies.
Harold’s Cabin – We love Bill Murray and we love the tasty, unique food at the River Dogs games, so we’re so excited to see what happens when the two come together. Slated to open in early December.
Blondie’s Bagels & Cafe – Daniel Island is in serious need of more carbs and quick breakfasts, and Blondie’s Bagels is the answer. We’re excited to pop in for breakfast and coffee on our Daniel Island trips. Opening fall.
Lewis Barbecue – Have you stood in line for hours at Revelry on a rainy Saturday just to get a bite of Lewis Barbecue, only to find that it’s sold out? Well, wait no more. Lewis is opening his own shop and we can’t wait to eat our weight in his amazing recipes. Opening late fall.
Mac Daddy Food Truck – Crave kitchen is getting wheels. After winning every mac and cheese competition in recent memory, the mac and cheese will now be widely available for their new food truck. Opening fall.
5Church – Taking the spot of the ill-fated Mad River on East Bay, Charlotte’s 5Church will be a fun bar with unique style and a mix of Charlotte to Charleston food offerings. Opening late fall.
